Passier® Optimum Mono — Dressage Saddle, Mono Flap

- Inventory on the way
The Passier® Optimum Mono is a refined variation of the popular Optimum dressage saddle, built for the rider who wants as little as possible between themselves and the horse.
Its monoflap construction brings you closer. A single layer of leather beneath the leg means more contact, more feel, and more influence over every step — and for a rider with an established, independent seat, that closeness is where the finer conversation happens: subtler aids, clearer answers, greater refinement.
The seat is deep and the twist narrow, drawing the leg long and close to the horse. The thigh supports sit on top of the flaps — present enough to guide the leg into position, subtle enough that they never confine it. You stay free to move with the horse, never forced into a seat.
It is built around the horse just as thoughtfully. The “Lifter” panels provide just a tad of additional lift — a real help on horses with high or pronounced withers — so the closeness you feel above is matched by comfort underneath.
Like every Passier®, the Optimum Mono is made to order in Hannover, Germany, on a craft tradition reaching back to 1867, and holds its quality and its value over many years of riding.

A custom saddle — created through our proprietary Virtual Saddle Fitting process — offers many more options, including decorative details, color combinations, and additional gullet-plate configurations.
Saddle Size Adjustments
All Passier® saddle trees are adjustable by a professional Passier® fitter. To adjust your configured saddle after you receive it, please contact your Passier® fitter.
Return Policy
Configured saddles are made to order and are not returnable or refundable. If your circumstances change, we may be able to resell your new, unused saddle on commission on your behalf — this is the only accommodation we can offer. By ordering a configurable saddle, you consent to this policy.
Delivery Times
Delivery for configured, made-to-order Passier® saddles is approximately 8–10 weeks from the order date. By purchasing, you accept that this time may occasionally extend by up to 4 weeks.
