PLEASE USE WITH A DETANGLER! It takes about 2 years for a tail hair to grow to full length. Most tails that look 'sub par' are a product of rough grooming! For a full and luscious horse tail, please use a detangler before using the mane and tail brush. Then work from the bottom up, holding each section with the off-hand right above the brushing hand.
