Horse Mane & Tail Brush "Mistral" – Air-Cushioned Steel Pins

A full mane and tail take years to grow and seconds to damage. The Mistral is built to protect them. Each steel pin ends in a smooth ball tip, and the pins sit on a flexible air cushion that gives way when the brush meets a knot. Instead of ripping through, the pins ease the hair apart.

The AirLastic cushion is built for heavy-duty use: it holds every pin firmly, so pins don’t push through the cushion or bend, even with the thickest tails and manes.

The large oval head covers a thick tail quickly. The beech wood body comes in a natural finish or in black, and the back carries a laser-engraved horse head with a flowing mane.

How to use

1. Hold the hair of the tail in one hand, above the section you are brushing.
2. Start at the ends and work upward in short strokes.
3. Loosen bigger knots with your fingers first, then brush them out.

TIP: When using a brush to care for your horse's tail (versus separating the hair by hand, as traditionally done), we recommend using a mane and tail detangler first to minimize breakage and hair loss.
